The pots are handcrafted using ancient old techniques through ropes.The ropes are coiled around wooden templates that support the clay.The ropes give the rough form allowing the pot to dry slowly over aperiod of 2-3 weeks, at which time the pot is hand turned and dried for a further 1-2 weeks.The process is slow and labour intensive, portraying the very essence of the product.
